GIPPO: New open source slicer optimizing paths for lattice architectures

Bambu Lab announces Vortek H2C with seven color wireless nozzle swapping

Following its H2S model, Bambu Lab unveiled the H2C system (due by Xmas 2025), which adds magnetically attached nozzles with onboard wireless chips so that nozzles swap automatically — reducing purge waste ("printer poop") during color changes. The new system builds on the AMS (Automatic Material System) and H series hotends, and may be upgradeable for existing H2D or H2S users.

I often get asked about the materials I offer, their prices, and differences. Below is a summary to help guide you:

• PLA     ($3-$4 per hour):
      PLA is known for its ease of use and good aesthetic quality, making it      suitable for display parts or functional items that don't require thermal      or UV resistance. It has a thermal resistance of around 60°C.
• PETG     ($5 per hour):
      PETG provides some UV and thermal resistance up to approximately 80°C.      It's suitable for outdoor use or functional parts that require moderate      durability.
• ABS      & ASA ($10 per hour):
      ABS is strong, durable, and offers superior thermal (up to 110°C) and UV      resistance. It's ideal for functional parts that demand strength. ASA,      similar in price and characteristics, provides similar properties but with      added weather resistance, making it excellent for outdoor applications.
• TPU      (Flexible material) ($20-$30 per hour):
      TPU is highly flexible and ideal for making protective cases, mounts,      shoes, and other items where flexibility is required. However, it requires      careful handling during printing and extensive post-print care.
• Nylon      (Polyamide) ($20-$30 per hour):
      Nylon is a durable material known for its toughness and resilience. It is      suitable for functional parts that require high strength and wear      resistance, although it is moisture-sensitive.
• Nylon      Carbon Fiber (PAHT-CF) & ASA-CF ($20-$30 per hour):
      These blends add impact resistance and produce very aesthetic parts with a      lightweight, robust structure.
